What I love about summer

These beautiful, super ripe berries were stacked up high at Safeway, so four boxes of them jumped into my basket. They were at the prime ripeness, so haste must be made to get them entirely eaten up. I think I’m up to the task! Strawberry everything for a couple of days! ;->

Apple and strawberries … good combination.

  2. Just now found your blog. Wonderful photos and the food? OMG! Maybe you’ll roll through Port Angeles one of these days.

Almost made it this year, but . . . well you know the drill. Planning for next year with an April Fool’s Day departure so we can visit eastern Oregon and Washington on the way up. Can’t wait to get back up there to that wonderful late summer/fall produce at Sunny Farms. Just sent a friend there, and she was mesmerized by the Lemon Zinger cookies, and some kind of muffin.

Olympic Peninsula = wonderful food, especially for Dog Patch!!! ;->
