The last of the berries

Add cornbread made with orange juice, yogurt, orange juice, and pecans, if you have them. “Pseudo pshortcake”.

This is a great snack for the afternoon droops.

  1. Aieeee! I hate this time of the year … the last fresh blueberry, the raspberry that is no more. Stolid autumn squash just can’t hold a candle to ’em.

    Sunny Farms seems to keep their stock going far into the autumn. Look on the “day old” table. How they do that? I agree – even Brussels sprouts on the stalk can’t hold a candle to all that luscious fruit.
