The stump, the mushroom, and the pretty vine of leaves
This inspiring Ponderosa Pine tree stump was just a bit of distance from the site where we had our picnic lunch in Hannagan Meadow a few days ago. The aspens were bright yellow; the pines dark green. So beautiful !

Beautiful photo. I haven’t been in touch with everyone as much as usual b/c my volunteer work with the campaign office has become almost full time. Today I am due in at 10:00 for my 4-hour shift and then will be going with another volunteer to a Metrorail station to distribution voter information. Talk to you later.

Thank you, Barbara! ;-> It is definitely a favorite of mine. But as time marches on, belly crawling along the ground for such shots is getting harder and harder! Thank goodness for swivel view screens, which help some!
