Spiffy White Car

We interrupt the parade of bird houses to show you this really spiffy white car that drove down the street in front of us while we were photographing a semi-abandoned town called Piños Altos, near Silver City. Don’t know its history, but it sure was thrilling to see it come rolling down Main Street!

Yes, but they weren’t chatting. Gary was just complimenting the car. The driver didn’t stop, so we weren’t able to get any history on the car. There seem to be a lot of oldish, restored vehicles in Silver City. I noticed on the Yelp-type of sites that car clubs apparently frequent the local restaurants and leave feedback.

It’s been fun discovering things to do/go by looking at the review sites. That’s how we found that great Thanksgiving meal. My phone doesn’t have Siri, but with all of the apps (Around Me) available on my iPhone to find out where I am (lost, as usual!) and where my target is, it has made traveling around in a strange city ever so much easier! We even found an outdoor equipment store that was just steps away from our actual location while out walking yesterday.
