This beautiful flower always brings me a feeling of tranquility when I run across it on my disk. I hope it does the same for you! ;->

  1. Really beautiful. Are you a self taught photographer with a great eye?

Blush! Well, I like to think so. I took a class once, and the teacher said that I have a good eye, and good composition. But it is mostly just chance, I think. Point ‘n’ shoot – that’s me. I can’t always see what I am aiming at because of bad eyesight, but then, when I get the pictures out on my computer, sometimes I amaze myself!

Back in the 80’s I had to mark up slides and send them off to be processed. Photoshop is the bomb! ;->

Would love to spend a few hours on your deck taking pictures of the passing scenery!

Thanks for visiting – it means a lot to see you here!

Judilyn, it is bright and beautiful! Do they grow at your garden?

Unfortunately I don’t have a garden. The deer, javelina and other critters just jump over our puny fence and dine on anything tender that they find. The Arizona desert does not really lend itself to gardens without considerable effort and expense. I just enjoy the commercial gardens in the big cities near here.

Arizona? That is a wild wild world 🙂 Blooms grows only in a potteries and vases, I guess 😉
I had a fly connection in Phoenix several years ago, I saw it only for couple of hours. It was a great experience, I like it 🙂
