This is Gary heading into the inner sanctum of a chocolate specialty shop in Poulsbo, Washington. According to signs I read, there was a misspelling along the way somewhere, and the town’s name is pronounced “Pauls-Bow”.
Don’t rub your eyes – Photoshop got into the act here!
I try to avoid chocolate stores – just can’t live my credit card in my valet 🙂 Seattle region is too beautiful..

Poulsbo is a smallish town that is on the Kitsap Peninsula, about 21 miles northwest of Seattle. Google Maps says it will take 1.25 hours to get there, though, because part of the way is by ferry. We had come from the other direction – from Sequim, Washington. The distance is more than twice as far, but takes less than an hour because there is just one short bridge to go over water, instead of a ferry ride. I am anxious to go back to this area. The late summer and early fall produce is spectacular!
