This is a rerun of yesterday’s broccoli/cheese/ham soup. I had used broth that I had made from boiling the bone from a ham, and it was tooooo salty. Not inedible; not even thirst inducing, but saltier than I prefer.
So . . . today I added some cauliflower, more milk, and a new slurry of flour and water to thicken it back up.
There were rave reviews from the other end of the table. We’re both glad there is enough left for a hearty lunch tomorrow.
