Yes, do put safety first! I’ve known two people in the last year who have lost fingers in table saw accidents. That being said, Gary makes a fine-looking alien.

I hope he is feeling well enough to do all of that. It is great if he is. Say “Hi” for me.

Not long after I took that picture, he hurt his shoulder. He’s down for a couple of days now. His bones are just not what they used to be, but mostly he is okay enough to do easy stuff – and some hard stuff!

Seems temporary setbacks become more frequent and more intense as we get older. Problem also is that what used to be easy, at times seems impossible now.

  4. Jan says:

Great that he feels well enough to even try doing this type of work.

So… what’s he making? A wine rack for two bottles? 😉

Cute! No, it is the frame for the two muffin fans to go in the refrigerator area. He used bumper’s ideas, except he didn’t have the ready-made framework. Besides, he had to try out the router since it is now available out of storage! He’s having a great time with having access to all his lovely tools, and the great workbench and lighting.
