River Walk – Sierra Vista Style

Gary's tree at San Pedro

Today you get a break from my animal and food pictures. Yesterday DH, another photographer friend, and I went down to the San Pedro River about four o’clock in the afternoon in an attempt to harness the sun’s rays and stuff them into our cameras.

I didn’t get anything worthwhile, but this handsome fellow with the shiny hair produced the above photo, and has graciously allowed me to share it with you.

That is such a beautiful photo! I actually have a picture of the photographer either setting up to take that very shot or having just finished. However, it was a quick grab, handheld, without image stabilization turned on, so it came out blurry. 😦 I’ll email it to you.

“to harness the sun’s rays and stuff them into our cameras” – I love that phrase, Judie! Nice shot of the guy taking pics, too! 😉

I’m late, but tell Gary for me that it’s a really good photo. The composition with the path and trees works very well.
