One of our favorite dinners involves the lovely combination of cabbage and tomato, with a twist. It’s kind of like stuffed cabbage, only a whole lot easier, and there is pasta! ;-> The red peppers made an unexpected appearance in the sale aisle at the grocery store, and a whole bunch of ’em jumped into my cart. We surely love red peppers – just slightly blackened!
Boil the pasta, blacken the peppers, steam the cabbage, put some hamburger meat and cooked onions into a jar of Classico Spicy Red Pepper Pasta Sauce and heat it up. Next time you make hamburgers, make an extra one and freeze it to use to make this a meal that is completely done from scratch in the time it takes to cook this thin pasta.
