Fox on Deck

fox looking back copy

When we got home this afternoon, after five grueling hours with the medicos and starving for lunch, we were greeted by this adorable creature sleeping on our deck. He moved from one sleeping spot to another for a couple of hours, and then settled down for a good snooze while we ate dinner. About 9:30 tonight he took off to hunt down his dinner.

Tell me that’s just the cutest fuzzy face you’ve every seen! We sure hope he comes back to visit from time to time.

You can look deeply into those beautiful eyes by clicking the picture once and letting it load. He’ll look right at you!

More pictures tomorrow – I took a whole bunch of ’em!

What a cute critter! It seems like your place is becoming a hangout for passing animals. Looking forward to more great pix.

The former owner had a picture of what looks like this fix making himself at home on an overstuffed sofa she had out on the deck. He had dug out a sleeping place in the cushions and had a regular little den in there. I never saw it in person, but she had pictures. We have no idea if this is the same fox, but he didn’t seem to be startled when the heater came on – the compressor is outside and makes a fair amount of noise right near where he was sleeping.

Well. . .clearly this fox felt safe and secure at your digs. Besides, how many people can brag that while they are not in residence, that they have a “guard fox” on duty?

    Nice photography. . .!

I have to admit that he is really cute — almost as cute as Boon! (I’m prejudiced) Looking forward shots of the cutie.

Will include status in the email. Started to write it here, but briefly left it to check email, and when I returned to finish, all was gone.

He is adorable! But be careful, of course; he may not be as friendly as he looks!

I have often wondered about the creatures that share our world. It seems that they have a intuitive knowledge of who they can trust. I think that they try to communicate with us in their own way. This little fellow knew that he was “home.” It is good to find special friends along the way. Just yesterday, I came up a bird that allowed me to take photos of her – she seemed to pose for her photograph.

How cute. I would have freaked out though, but he’s ever so cute looking. I hope all went well with the medicos. Wish you and better half all the best.

Liz, Gary enjoys looking at your posts with me. He loves Seville marmalade, and tries to work it into everything. I think I have found some on Amazon that looks promising. I’d put it on your scones, but not sure I could coax him to try it.

Absolutely precious! Somehow I’ve missed the last four posts, so I’m backtracking and seeing some fab photos. This little guy is beautiful, I hope he comes back, too. 🙂
