About a mile from the cemetery is what is left of the mill. I couldn’t tell anything about it from the debris available, but it was apparently a big part of what kept Fairbank alive.
It was ten years ago when we walked this trail, and I remember the difficulty of walking in some sand along the way. But that’s about all I can remember. It’s a good thing I take lots of pictures, or my mind would be a complete blank! ;->
The best part, though, is that the sky is still that blue here!
One rock at a time. . .yikes!

It was apparently a huge building at one time.

The sky really is a beautiful shade of blue. I find I’m noticing things like that more as I get older.

Bad photographers can always go wrong – same as with cooks… 😉 😀
