I had all the makings for a pizza, so here’s what it looked like with all the greenery.
Added some strips of mozzarella and baked it. It seemed especially tasty to us both. Not sure why. Maybe the spinach leaves kept the top moist while allowing the crust to become quite crispy. Consumption was immediate, but there is half left for tomorrow’s lunch.
That looks really, really, really good!

There is still half of it in the refrigerator . . . if you’re really, really, really quick!

The amount of spinach looks like overkill, but it works out well.

Oh, yes – please try it. Just put on whatever goodies you have around. There is no set recipe. If you like it, toss any ingredient(s) that you think would be good onto a crust and bake it. It’s like a heavenly hot sandwich. ;-> Just be sure to be generous with the cheese!

this looks wonderful, Judie. We had some boeuf Stroganoff today. Was nice, too. Have a wonderful week-end, virtual hugs Mitza

Stroganoff is a favorite of ours. Lots of sunshine for us for at least ten days. Yay! Hope some spills over on you. ;->

You are very lucky with the weather. We have rain today (which is good for the garden) and it’s akward outside, cold and ugly. But yesterday up to the eclipse of the sun it was sunny and nice. It was a really interesting thing to see the world grow darker and darker. Even the Dutch King and Queen who have been here in Hamburg watched it with special glasses. 🙂

How exciting for you! I have never really experienced an eclipse, but it sounds like quite something to behold. Lucky you! ;->

Looks delicious! I love spinach on pizza. What else is there? I spy olives and I think tomatoes. is there pepperoni?

To make just about any pizza, I brush the crust with olive oil, then put on a layer of whatever tomato-y sauce I have around. This was a bit of spaghetti sauce that I had leftover from the night before. On this particular pizza, there were bits of Italian sausage, pepperoni, black olives, a melange of sautéed onions, fresh tomatoes, and roasted red pepper, and then a layer of the spinach, as shown. Usually I am very generous with sautéed mushrooms, but was out of them this particular day. After the portrait, I put down slices of mozzarella and baked it at 510 degrees for about 15 minutes. Is it lunchtime yet? The other half will be devoured then! ;->

Love all that greenery you have going on there. And cheese makes everything taste good.

I think it keeps the toppings moist by sacrificing itself to the heat gods. Also, cheese!
