Feta Dust

There has been the merest suggestion of feta cheese left in the container for several days.  Every day I think I will finish it off, but it seems to regenerate when I am not looking.

This is a new dressing that I tried – sesame ginger Cole slaw.   It is great on tomatoes, but is fairly potent so I didn’t put it on my salad, too.  It was good used as a dip for Judie McNuggets the other night, and added a nice zing to a chicken, ham, and cheese grilled sandwich.

Found out that jarred tomato pesto is pretty good on cheeseburgers.  Way better than catsup!

What I wouldn’t give for that burger on a bun right now. On my low carb diet I desperately miss bread!

I’ve been reading extensively on this. Both sugar and carbs in excess affect the brain, which is one reason neurosurgeons believe there is such a dramatic increase in Alzheimer’s disease. I know I will die of something, probably to do with my heart, but I sure don’t want to risk dementia.

I noticed a major improvement in my health once I got over with withdrawal symptoms. I will cheat now and then, such as I plan to do on Thanksgiving and on my birthday (pizza and beer). But by being aware of what I buy, looking at the carb content, I’m astonished at how much I was ingesting.
