Here’s what DH had to start off his six-hour fast with nothing but water for the first five hours, and then nothing at all for the last hour. Still low-carb diet, so no toast or cornbread.
This omelette was composed of two duck eggs, Swiss cheese, red, yellow and orange baby peppers, onions, and mushrooms. After this portrait was made, NOLA Boy piled on the salsa and Tabasco sauce.
If I get permission to publish . . . soon I will show you what six o’clock in the morning looks like to a night owl!
Looks like a yummy and colorful way to start a fast!

I eat eggs with veg every morning and now it’s a wonderful habit for me. I have an unusual egg recipe on line at the moment, if you’re interested – https://cookupastory.wordpress.com/2015/11/17/egg-clouds-send-your-salads-to-seventh-heaven/

Very interesting, Sharon. I spent a little time perusing your site, and will come back later to look in depth. You have hit a lot of my hot buttons, i.e. chia seeds!
Virtual hugs,
Judie

I thought, you are NOT going to feed that omlette to a pet? But, then again, I guess a “night owl” can be considered a pet. What a hoot. Pun intended.
