How can soup be sad? Well, because it knows for sure that that is the very last piece of cornbread!
This is potato, cheese, broccoli soup with a sprinkling of dill weed and smoked paprika. As usual, there is a good dose of turmeric in the soup. I’ve been putting it in a lot of things lately, but there is all that YELLOW! By adding a bit of smoked paprika at the same time as the turmeric, the effect is a bit more mellow, almost a creamy color, rather than the appearance of a major curried dish.
We were treated to a visible serenade by coyote last night. My description is written on the ANIMALS SPOTTED page.
Potato cheese broccoli has gotta be one of my favs! You made it look really purdy. 😉

I have never made potato cheese broccoli soup, but it looks and sounds delish. What do you use as a base for the soup?

The soup looks very tasty, but if it’s so sad, then it seems to be the time for another batch of cornbread… 🙂
