No tortellinis in this salad! Just field greens, Swiss cheese, tomatoes, strawberries and tangerine sections. After the photo, I drizzled on a bit of the Sesame Ginger Coleslaw dressing that I am finding many uses for, and gobbled it down. The sweet/tartness of the strawberries and tangerine was very nice with the full-bodied flavor of the dressing.
I tried out a new idea for the bread that day. I used molasses for the sweetener and hazelnut meal for part of the flour. I thought it might turn out grainy, but it didn’t – smooth as silk – and full of a very pleasant ambience. It is totally irresistible when toasted for breakfast – or as we had it for lunch today, with chicken salad.
