A little extra work on two different nights, and with the help of the Crock Pot this afternoon to bake the squash, dinner tonight is just a plug-it-in and turn-it-on affair.
A bowl of field greens and tomatoes, and we dine like kings tonight, thanks to the assistance from the Cuisinart Oven Central.
I see minimum clean up in my future.

True. I need to familiarize myself with that one more. I haven’t had any bad experiences with the pressure cooker but somehow it’s a little intimidating.

Actually the post went live before I had intended . . . or had really finished . . . so sorry about the scanty information. Yes, twice-baked potatoes, butternut squash, and Judie McNuggets. I don’t cook with tempeh, but that might substitute for the chicken for you.

I am massively disappointed in the choice of the American people last week. How does this look on the outside?

That’s a really good question. We are not only disappointed, we’re frightened because it feels like setting a fox to watch the geese. What a strange impression it makes that so many people have voted for a weird guy! The first nations always choose the wisest and most experienced to become their leader and what did the Americans do? Unfortunately he even has German ancestors!

The majority of Americans did NOT vote for him, but our system made it possible for him to be elected. BUT December 19, is the final vote of the electoral college. We are hoping for a bit of sanity to prevail.

Easier, faster, and much more delightful than reheating in a microwave. I am amazed (and delighted) at the usefulness of this appliance!

I have no use for and don’t own a microwave. I always prefer to reheat food in my large toaster oven. So much better!

Our microwave is used mostly to heat “warmy packs” for therapeutic use on our bodies. This is a fantastic way to stave off unpleasant side effects of being alive! ;->
