So . . . here is a shot of the Chick-Sal-Sand that I promised you!
The blob on top of the roll is where I got careless with the cheese. The buns were toasted and then a layer of Swiss cheese was put on the bottom, below the chicken salad. Oh, my! So delicious.
Also shown is Mama Judie’s Famous Rice-A-Roni (The Arizona treat!) and steamed shredded carrots, some of which were put raw into the chicken salad.
I use Cole slaw dressing instead of mayonnaise in almost everything that might require a tart-ish mixer. Sometimes I use Creamy Ranch dressing. Just depends.
