It’s been six plus months, and I finally made this breakfast again.

Inside of this fabulous omelette is more of what you see on the outside, i.e. Cheddar cheese, mushrooms, yellow pepper, Mexican onion tops, and ham.
More Cheddar on top of the omelette, and Swiss/Gruyére on the polenta, with roasted Hatch chiles. Liberal sprinkling of smoked paprika. Blueberries, and apple slices (sprinkled with cinnamon sugar after the photo was taken).
Not shown: Orange juice and the perfect mug of coffee – inspired by the Aero Press method – now made in an entirely new way for wonderful smoothness.
NB: I have no idea how this will look upon publishing. Many changes have happened within WordPress while I was away, and I know nothing at this point!
All hints/criticisms gratefully accepted! ;->
I’ve missed you. I hope all is going well. Virtual hugs.

Peggy – In cleaning up a desk drawer, I found a letter that you had sent to me at Thanksgiving many years ago. I no longer had the envelope, so no return address to reply.
Can you send me an email to catch me up?
Virtual hugs,
Judie

Thank you, Rebecca. Life will never be the same, but it must go on. I have dawdled long enough.

Nice to see you back. All looks delicious and super healthy!
WP indeed changed, but for simple purposes it’s still workable. I suggest choosing “Image” block and then press + “classic” block for the text. 🙂

This looks soooooo good ! Leave off the meat and Chilis for me though. Talk soon ? It really is hard and always will be remembered that is how you made his breakfast. THAT IS OK . Shows you treated him very special , like the special guy he was. AND how special you are,

He would have wanted an English muffin , bacon, and a couple of cups of coffee, in addition to the orange juice. What an appetite! ;->

Thanks, Ronit. I had forgotten what little I had learned when they changed out the format and you guided me along then. I’ll give it a whirl. It was a bit disconcerting this morning when faced with the “new and improved” environment! ;->

Unfortunately, that trick no longer works, and the “new and improved” (Ha!) is the only option…
They have a few tutorials, but most are for people who publish more than photos and a bit of text, so maybe they’ll just be even more confusing.

Hi Judie, good to see you posting again … and making me hungry again 🙂👍! WordPress makes me nuts sometimes, but you’ll have it down in no time. This post look just fine to me.

Thank you for your kind words. It has been, and still is, very difficult. He was such an extraordinarily special person.
