Former and future fulltimer.
I’m not clear what/how I am supposed to put on this page, but if it is an introduction to me, I’ll have to think about it, give it a try and see what happens. But not right now – a sinkful of dishes has first claim on my time.
The sinful of dishes seem not to have cleared? hi thanks for following my blog. Look forward to receiving posts from your blog. Kind regards!

I like your photos, whimsical attitude toward life–and your fancy RV. Recently, my husband, a former Westerner, and I took a trip to the Central California coast and recorded my impressions with some photos you may enjoy: http://plainandfancygirl.wordpress.com/2013/08/07/signs-and-wonders/

Oh wow, I was just going to take a break from writing my blog http://mynameisjamie.net but first went to the place where it shows who has like you or followed you and I followed one back to someone who didn’t English. Drat! I couldn’t converse with him, but you were, too and because it was in English I looked at your pictures of food. You make food the way I do, but right now, I am so hungry and need to cook dinner and I wanted too eat the pictures of your food right through the computer screen. Now, my stomach is really growling! Thank you for that feast for my eyes! oh! I looked a reply before mine and saw the man I was wanting to thank. It was schnippleboy. Does he speak english, too?

Hi Todd – What a pleasure to get your note! I hope you will be inspired to cook in more and more. It is really fairly easy with a bit of pre-planning. If you can, start out your trip with some meal-sized portions of cooked meat (if you eat meat) in your freezer, and then add a starch and a fresh or frozen vegetable as you go along. You will be amazed at how quickly this goes together. We are leery of the safety of eating out these days – so many reports of “distress”. It takes far less time to whomp up a delicious meal than it does to search out a place, drive there, wait for a table, wait for your food (hoping for the best quality), eating it, and then driving home again. Eating out has its place, of course, but for the most part, a “whip-it-up” meal in your MB will outclass just about any meal at a restaurant for about 20% of the cost – BONUS! ;->

Thank you for your kind words. I have been lax about posting to the animal journal, but this time of year about all we get are birds. A big roadrunner taunted me for quite a while on the fence this morning. I snapped off a bunch of pictures of him, but presume they will look like all of the others! I swear he hears me take the camera out of its case!
