That is a lynx! The ears give it away. It is very unusual to photograph one in the wild, and it’s really something that you captured the photo. Great job, Judie!
I thought the ears looked like lynx ears, but not really knowing . . . S/he comes here regularly, but this was the best photo. I can’t take any credit, though, for the photograph. It just happens while I am sleeping! ;->
Actually, it may be a bobcat, which is a member of the lynx family. After more looking, the larger lynx is not supposed to be in Arizona. Here is a good URL for you to check:
