This plate was on the back of a really old pick up truck at Brown Canyon Ranch where we went to photograph last week.
It brought up a lot of thoughts about how policing has changed over the years.

Justice was so much simpler back then… Lovely photo! π

The colors really grabbed me! We hadn’t even left the parking lot before I had my first treasure picture of the day! ;-> We had a great picnic lunch, too, with hot sandwiches!

Sounds like a nice day trip! π

It’s only about ten miles away, so easy to go there and come back in one day, and still allow for DH to get his afternoon snooze. It was a gorgeous day to boot! So is today, but with a bit of wind. We’re so spoiled! ;->

Looking at the pile of snow outside, I have to agree! π

What is that thing you say . . . “snow”? ;-> I can see some on the very tippy top of the mountains, but so far this year, none has settled on our ground. It’s nice to look at – in the far distance!

I actually love it, but not when 2 months’ worth comes down in one day… π

Brilliant capture. A reminder that even our day will pass. It often wonder what the next generation with think of us.

I’m not sure they think at all – beyond the screen in front of them! That may be too harsh; I’m sure there are very intelligent young people out there.

I just entered coordinates and other data into the on-board computer for my time machine. I hope to return with an actual Tombstone report but if you do not hear from me within 48-hours, then please check http://clantongang.com/oldwest/boothillgraveyard_graves.html to see if my alias for this trip “Louis Hancock” was recently listed among those who reside in Boot Hill. Wish me luck!

Will keep all communication lines open for your safe return. For those of you who may read this, but don’t know my friend, Kit . . . he has a very vivid imagination, but the link he inserted in his comment is for real. Interesting reading! ;->
