Once having listened to the Native American flute music, it gets embedded in one’s brain, and wisps of the sound drift from one piece of art work to the next.
I like it! I especially like R. Carlos Nakai. He trained in the classics, but is devoted to the Native America flute. We met him a long time ago in Denver. I should transfer his tapes to MP3 while I still have a working tape player.
We got one of his disks when we were there. He is truly great! Thanks for the background – I didn’t know that about him.
I remember this guy!
