This is a popular local restaurant. It seems to be busy day and night. We went in once and had Mexican plates before setting out for our ride up to Big Lake.
The trees were just finishing up their show for the tourists, and we are about the last of the tourists in town, so the pretty yellow leaves are just about all gone now.
There is still a little bit of snow on the ground today from yesterday’s snowfall, but just a bit. It is supposed to be 65 degrees tomorrow, and I am surely looking forward to that. It gets into single-digit numbers here at night. Brrrrr !
Very nice, Judie!

Thanks, Dale. The little “downtown” area of Alpine is a hoot. Tomorrow’s post will point that up!

In Vancouver we have rain, rain, rain, rain and more rain. After a while, we just call it liquid sunshine…

Pretty picture with the golden trees. So how was the food at that restaurant?

We had their standard Mexican plates. They tout their homemade pies, but we didn’t try them. Maybe another time.
