Here’s the mama to yesterday’s budding beauty. It is equally full of blossoms on the other side of the tree. This is about a third of the volume.
It does this at least twice a year, and each time more impressive than the last.

The fragrance must be so welcoming.

Surprisingly, although they have SOME fragrance, it is not overpowering – more like a “fresh” smell than the “rose” aroma we are accustomed to smelling in commercial products. But, truly, it makes my heart sing every time I pass by the tree.

Do you keep the dead buds trimmed? That could be one reason why the bloom better the second time also cool weather helps alot, mine used to bloom in spring and then early fall in Spokane WA. yours are very pretty and glad I don’t have all the upkeep of them, but do miss them.

We had just had all of our trees and bushes trimmed by a landscaper. But, no, I can’t reach the deadheads to trim them off. It is anything but cool here in the desert! The May/June bloom was just this prolific.

Forgot to recommend get Ephsom Salts and take 2 tablespoons and sprinkle around base and scratch in then water this will keep aphids and other bad bugs away. Need to do about once a month and then 2 x a year when first see buds.

Nice! My one rose bush last year bloomed over 2,500 flowers. This year I did not continue to dead head and count them after 1,000 flowers because I was busy with client’s landscaping projects! Too bad!

Yes. Early spring when snow melt you give a lot of manure then about 6 weeks later stick few rose spikes couple feet outside the ground near root! Same way works very well for flower/fruit trees!
