Meatballs and Eggplant 


Meatballs with eggplant and sweet onions in a tomato sauce over angel hair pasta, and the rest of the Brussels sprouts. 

I made a batch of whole wheat bread – six sandwich rolls with sesame seeds, and a good-sized loaf of bread with poppy seeds. 

A film of soft butter, a sprinkle of Italian herbs, and some shreds of Parmesan cheese – a delicious bread accompaniment.  There was a slice leftover which will make a few nice croutons for the next green salad.
