Clearly these three stalks are not concerned with encroachment! Maybe they just want a better view. ;->
MOST excellent photography! Colors, whimsical, engaging. . .it has all that & more!
Nice going, Dr. J!
Thanks! It was one of those places that just screamed out for a portrait!
I think fences are for birds to land on, right? 🙂
Birds do seem to like to land on fences, even the ones with such narrow wire. I don’t know how they hold on! ;->
Happy New Year…nice to hear from you after my long absence. I like live bushy fences. I bet that one demarcates the land? I wonder what it’s for….
No telling what it is for. It is all Forest Service property, as I understand it.
Maybe it is from an earlier time, and no one took it down. There doesn’t seem to be any demarcation need. But it made a lovely subject for my lens.
Your questions and photo reminded me of a thought by Robert Frost: “Don’t ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up.”
Good idea. ;->
You know what they say… The grass is always greener on the other side… Nice photo!
Thanks. Or maybe yellower?
