Seedy Buns

seedy buns - 6-20-13

The topping on these buns has finally settled in at sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, Trader Joe’s grinder of Everyday Seasoning, and a quick pass with the grinder of Himalayan Pink Salt Crystals. I put a pretty heavy whole egg wash over the top to hold this all in place.

They held our hamburgers night before last, and will provide a base for the meat from some beef back ribs – very tender – Swiss cheese, roasted red peppers, and slow-sauteed sweet onions for our lunch today.
