I have been inundated with peppers since I picked every pepper in the garden in advance of a predicted frost. I roasted and froze the poblanos. I’m attempting a tiny batch of green cayenne fermented hot sauce (not holding much hope for success). Much of today was taken up with canning jalapeños (3 quarts, 1 pint and a partial jar for the refrigerator. The green bell peppers are in the refrigerator to be used as desired.

If they are on sale again, I will do the roasting all over again, too, but will freeze some this time. So far, we haven’t grown tired of them.

Thank you, Chef. We had already each eaten one before I could whip my phone out of my pocket to take the picture! I just rearranged them a bit. It was a more pleasing picture with seven anyway.

Thank you, Terri. We definitely love our groceries! Meals and snacks are a big deal around here. We are so thankful to have such an abundance.

No – no recipe book. I seldom use a recipe for anything, so would have no clue how to produce a cookbook of recipes. I DID type (yes, on a typewriter) one for a charity group once! What a job!
