I have a new frying pan, and am using it nearly daily. It is great for quickly browning veggies without the risk of burning them. This stir-fry happened in record time, with almost no clean up.
I tossed some sliced-up leftover steak over top of the veggies in to warm up, and then served it over rice for DH and linguini for me. Very quick; very delicious.
Note: There is almost always some sort of pre-prepared starch course in the refrigerator, so this sort of meal can happen much more quickly than ANYTHING that comes out of the frozen food section of your grocery store! A quick chop of some fresh veggies, add some protein, serve it up!
I’m hungry. Please come over 😄

Those veggies look so appealing! I need to invest in a new frying pan soon. I want one with a flat bottom (a must with a ceramic top stove) and higher rounded sides than the ones I have.

I have been thrilled with this new Calphalon pan. Sounds like what you are looking for. I love the large surface at the bottom on my smooth top stove!

I didn’t want to sully the lovely colors of the veggies, so I cut the steaks into thick slices and added them after the photo was in the can, er , on the disk!
